LinkedIn Recruiter Lite: What It Costs and How to Sign Up
LinkedIn Recruiter Lite costs $50 a month through Searcora, activated on the LinkedIn account you already use. LinkedIn itself lists Recruiter Lite at US$170 a month on its own page, read 21 August 2026 — dollars only, and the page carries no date — which is $2,040 across twelve months.
Recruiter Lite through Searcora is $50 a month, against LinkedIn’s published US$170. It is activated on your own LinkedIn account, paid once per term, and there is no multi-month discount — six months is six times the monthly rate, and the table below says so plainly rather than implying a saving that does not exist.
Every guide ranking for this question quotes a LinkedIn figure and then sells you a rival sourcing tool. This one quotes a figure and offers the actual LinkedIn seat, on your own profile, with the mechanics written out in full.
Searcora activation price: $50 per month. Our own service price, not a LinkedIn rate or a LinkedIn discount.
Assigned to your own email address. You accept the invitation while logged into your own LinkedIn account.
No password is requested, and none is needed. The profile, network and message history stay yours.
Support for the whole term follows activation.
If you are prospecting rather than hiring, Sales Navigator is the cheaper and better fit.

The product
What Recruiter Lite Is, and Who Actually Needs It
Recruiter Lite is LinkedIn’s entry-level hiring seat: a separate candidate search engine, a monthly InMail allowance and a place to run each open role as a project.
It is not an upgraded version of your normal account. It opens a different interface, with recruiting-specific filters — seniority, years of experience, skills, current and past employers, willingness to relocate — and a pipeline where candidates move through stages instead of sitting in your inbox.
It fits a specific person: hiring rather than selling, filling one to roughly ten roles at a time, working solo or in a two-to-five-person team. Solo recruiters, in-house hiring managers, founders recruiting their first engineers, small agencies.
It does not fit high-volume talent teams. Run twenty concurrent requisitions with three sourcers sharing a pipeline and Recruiter Lite’s single seat and thirty monthly InMails run out in week one. The right answer there is LinkedIn’s full Recruiter product, bought from LinkedIn — something we do not sell and will not pretend to.
The fork everyone hits
Recruiter Lite vs Full Recruiter vs Sales Navigator
Search “LinkedIn Premium for recruiters” and the answer splits in two within one click. These are three different products at three very different prices, and recruiters confuse them constantly.
Recruiter Lite vs Full Recruiter vs Sales Navigator

$119.99 Core, $159.99 Advanced (LinkedIn, Aug 2026)
The short version: Recruiter Lite is for filling roles, Sales Navigator is for finding buyers. Recruiters sometimes pick Sales Navigator anyway, because the filters are broader and it costs less — that works for sourcing names, but you lose hiring projects, candidate stages and recruiter-specific filters. We wrote the honest version of that trade-off on is Sales Navigator worth it.

What LinkedIn Recruiter Lite Costs
Here is the part every pricing guide gets slightly wrong: LinkedIn does publish a Recruiter Lite price, but it is easy to miss: on 21 August 2026 its own page showed US$170 a month, in dollars only, with no date on the page and no sterling equivalent. What you find in pricing guides is a band of third-party estimates around that figure rather than the figure itself.

Searcora activation
Recruiter Lite Activation — $50 a Month
One price, published, no quote form and no “message us for today’s rate”. This is Searcora’s own service price for activating a Recruiter Lite seat on the LinkedIn account you already have.
$50 / month
LinkedIn Recruiter Lite
For solo recruiters, in-house hiring managers and small agencies.
Activated on your own LinkedIn account, by invitation to your own email
Recruiter search filters, hiring projects and candidate pipeline
The monthly InMail allowance LinkedIn sets for the plan
No password requested, ever — you click accept yourself
Longer terms and multiple seats are quoted individually, because availability changes. Each recruiter needs their own licence on their own email — a three-person agency means three seats, never one seat with three logins. Tell us how many and how long, and we confirm availability before you pay anything.
Features
What You Actually Get for the Money
Three things carry the value. Everything else on the feature list is supporting detail.
Candidate search filters
A recruiter-specific search over LinkedIn’s member data: seniority, years in role, skills, current and past employers, location, willingness to relocate. Around twenty filters, reaching up to your third-degree network. It surfaces people who are not looking — ordinary LinkedIn search does that badly.
InMail credits
Thirty credits a month, the figure LinkedIn documents for this plan. Each one reaches a candidate with no connection request needed. Unused credits roll over for a limited window, and credits are returned when a candidate replies — so response rate directly changes how far the allowance stretches.
Hiring projects
One project per open role. Candidates are saved into stages, notes and reminders sit against each person, and your shortlist stops living in browser tabs. This is the feature people actually miss when a Recruiter Lite term ends, more than the search or the InMails.
Allowances and filter counts are set by LinkedIn and change without much warning, so treat them as current-at-publication rather than contractual. This is LinkedIn’s product working normally on your own profile: we activate the seat, we do not modify the software.
The honest half
What Recruiter Lite Does Not Do
Worth reading before you spend $50, not after. These are real product limits, not our terms.
What Recruiter Lite Does Not Do
What people expect
What actually happens
Search the whole of LinkedIn
Search reaches up to your third-degree network. Full member-base reach sits in LinkedIn’s higher Recruiter tiers
Share a pipeline with colleagues
Single seat, single user. No shared projects, no pooled InMail credits, no team reporting
Unlimited candidate messaging
Thirty InMails a month. Solo recruiters running an active search commonly exhaust them in days
Replace an ATS
Hiring projects are a shortlist and note tool, not applicant tracking, and integrations are limited
Post jobs for free
Job posting is a separate LinkedIn product with its own cost
Downgrade later
Widely reported that you cannot downgrade Recruiter Lite directly — you cancel and re-buy, and cancelling can take projects and credits with it
If most of that column matters to you, you are looking at full LinkedIn Recruiter, which is sold by LinkedIn’s own sales team on a quote. We do not sell it, and no honest activation service can price it for you.
Straight comparison
Recruiter Lite Free Trial and the Routes That Genuinely Reduce What You Pay
On the free trial, plainly: LinkedIn has at times offered a Recruiter trial, but it is not a standing public offer the way the Sales Navigator trial is — eligibility depends on your account and on what LinkedIn is running at the time, and the only reliable way to know is to open Recruiter Lite while signed in and see whether a trial is offered to you. Searcora does not offer a free trial, because we activate paid terms rather than resell LinkedIn’s promotions; anyone advertising a guaranteed Recruiter Lite trial is describing something LinkedIn controls and they do not. If no trial appears for you, the routes below are the ones that genuinely lower what you pay.
Some of these are better than ours for the right person. We would rather you know that than buy the wrong thing from us.
Routes That Genuinely Reduce What You Pay
Route
What it involves
The catch
LinkedIn’s nonprofit programme
Registered nonprofits can apply to LinkedIn for Nonprofits for a heavily discounted Recruiter Lite grant, widely reported around 75% off
Eligibility-gated and applied for directly with LinkedIn. If you qualify, take it — it beats us
Annual billing direct with LinkedIn
Lower effective monthly rate, charged up front
Twelve-month lock-in for a hiring push that may last a quarter
A LinkedIn trial, where offered
Short evaluation period on your own account
Availability varies, and card details are usually required
Using Sales Navigator instead
Cheaper search seat, broader filters
No hiring projects, stages or recruiter filters
Buying a ready-made account
You are handed credentials to a profile that is not yours
Breaches LinkedIn’s terms, risks restriction, network is not yours
Handing a third party your password
Someone signs in as you to apply a plan
Breaches LinkedIn’s terms, gives a stranger your inbox
VPN region-switching at checkout
Presenting a false location for cheaper regional pricing
Misrepresents your billing country, risks account flags
Searcora activation
A seat assigned to your own email, accepted by you, $50 a month
An independent paid service. Not a LinkedIn discount, partnership or reseller arrangement
Searcora does not sell LinkedIn accounts, ask for passwords, or advise region-spoofing, and we name none of the operators who do. If a route needs your credentials or somebody else’s profile, the saving is not worth the account you built.
The mechanic
How to Sign Up for Recruiter Lite, Step by Step
No editorial page on this subject explains how a licence is provisioned. Here is ours in full, so you can judge it before spending anything.
1
You send the term and, for a seat, your email
How many months you want and, on the seat route, the address already attached to your LinkedIn account. A redemption link needs no email at all.
2
A seat is assigned to that address
The licence is issued to your email — not to an account we hold, and not to a profile you have never seen.
3
You accept the invitation yourself
You click accept while logged in as yourself. Your password is never requested and is never needed at any point.
4
Recruiter opens on your profile
Same profile, same connections, same login, plus the recruiter interface. Support for the whole term follows.
Commercial terms are on the terms page, data handling on the privacy page. The same mechanic covers every plan we activate — see the activation page.
Two routes, one result. Depending on the plan and term, the subscription reaches your account either as a licence seat assigned to your LinkedIn email address (you accept LinkedIn’s invitation in your own session) or as a redemption link we send you (you open it yourself and redeem it; LinkedIn asks for a payment method on file, as it does for its own trials). We confirm which route applies on WhatsApp before you pay. Neither route asks for your password, and nobody signs in as you.
Who published this
Who You Are Buying From
Nearly every page ranking for Recruiter Lite pricing is a blog run by a company selling a rival sourcing tool. Here is the named entity behind this one, with an address.
Searcora Digital Ltd is a UK registered company at 78 Dulverton Road, London, SE9 3RL, England. The founder is Muhammad Amir, Founder & Local SEO Consultant, with five years in LinkedIn and search work. More on the about page.
You are eleven profiles into a shortlist, you open the twelfth, and LinkedIn tells you searching is unavailable until next month. That is the commercial use limit, and it is the most concrete reason a recruiter upgrades.
Recruiter Lite lifts the limit too, and is the cheaper answer if you are hiring.
It is a monthly cap LinkedIn applies to free accounts on how many profiles you can search and view. LinkedIn publishes no fixed number and the threshold varies by account. It resets on the 1st of each calendar month, and LinkedIn’s own Help documentation states plainly that it cannot be lifted on request — support will not reset it, so waiting is the only free option.
That same documentation names the subscriptions that remove or raise the limit: Premium Business, Recruiter Lite and Sales Navigator. Recruiter Lite is on the list. What is missing from it matters just as much — Premium Career is not named, so the cheapest Premium tier does not lift the cap. Plenty of people buy Career assuming any Premium fixes this. It does not.

Being honest about the alternatives: if your searching is B2B prospecting rather than hiring, Sales Navigator lifts the same cap and costs less with us — weigh it against Premium Business, or check the Sales Navigator price. Recruiter Lite earns its higher price when you are shortlisting candidates and running roles as projects, not merely viewing profiles.
Full mechanics of the cap are written out on LinkedIn’s commercial use limit. A term bought from us runs for the months you paid for and then stops — no stored card, no automatic recharge.

Payment by Wise, Payoneer or bank transfer, once, for the whole term. We confirm the total and the current activation timing in writing before you pay, and issue an invoice afterwards with whatever billing details you need on it. No card is stored and nothing renews on its own.
No multi-month discount, and we would rather say so than imply one. Premium and Sales Navigator get cheaper per month on longer terms; Recruiter Lite does not. If you only need it for one hiring round, take one month — there is nothing to gain by committing longer.
A second seat is quoted separately, because LinkedIn prices additional Recruiter Lite seats differently from the first. Send us the number of seats and we will price the set before you pay anything.
$50 a month through Searcora, activated on your own LinkedIn account. LinkedIn’s own page showed US$170 a month for Recruiter Lite when we read it on 21 August 2026 — dollars only, no sterling price, and no date shown on the page. That is $2,040 across twelve months. Recruiting-tool guides read the same month report additional seats at around $270 each; that seat figure is a third-party estimate, not a quoted LinkedIn rate.
No. Recruiter Lite is the entry seat: one user, 30 InMails a month, search reaching up to your third-degree network — and whether you need it at all against a Premium seat is settled on Premium vs Recruiter Lite. Full LinkedIn Recruiter searches the entire member base, pools credits across a team and adds shared projects and reporting. It is sold on a quote through LinkedIn’s sales team, and Searcora does not sell it.
Recruiter Lite if you are filling roles, Sales Navigator if you are finding buyers. Recruiter Lite adds hiring projects, candidate stages and recruiter filters that Sales Navigator has no equivalent of. Sales Navigator has broader search and 50 InMails (the full credit ladder is here) and costs less with us. Sourcing names only? Sales Navigator will do. Managing a shortlist? Recruiter Lite.
Thirty a month on Recruiter Lite, the allowance LinkedIn documents for this plan. Unused credits roll over for a limited window and credits are returned when a candidate replies, so a good message stretches the allowance further than a poor one. An active solo search can still exhaust thirty within days. LinkedIn sets and occasionally changes these limits.
Not inside Recruiter Lite. It is a single-seat product with no shared pipeline, no pooled InMail credits and no team reporting. Each recruiter needs their own licence on their own email address, so a three-person agency means three separate activations. Message us with the number of seats and the term and we will quote and confirm availability first.
Yes, and that is the entire point of the service. Depending on the term, either a licence seat is assigned to the email address already on your LinkedIn account and you accept the invitation as yourself, or you open a redemption link we send and redeem it yourself. Your password is never requested and is never needed. Your profile, connections, notes and message history stay exactly where they are.
Not from Searcora — we activate paid terms only. LinkedIn itself has offered Recruiter trials, but availability depends on your account and region, card details are usually required up front, and the trial converts to full list price unless you cancel in time. Check the offer inside your own LinkedIn account before assuming you are eligible.
Yes. Activation runs for the term you paid for and simply ends unless you order another one, so extending means messaging us before the term runs out. There is no rolling contract and no auto-renewal from our side. Our refund and support terms are published in full on the terms page rather than hidden in a checkout footnote.
LinkedIn does not publish a price for full Recruiter (Recruiter Corporate) — it is quoted through a sales rep, and reported figures run to thousands of dollars per seat per year. Recruiter Lite is the self-serve tier: US$170/month at list price (read 21 Aug 2026), or $50/month through activation on your own account.
Know the term you need? Send the number of months and the email attached to your LinkedIn account, and we will confirm availability before you pay anything.
